Baby Jacob is here! {Valley Alabama Opelika Newborn Photographer}

It seems like everyone has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Jacob and he’s finally here!! His Mom is a school teacher here in the Valley and I’m so honored that she chose me to capture his first sweet moments.

Mom and Dad are both into hunting and camping so I knew I had to implement that into the Session somehow, someway. You see, each session I photograph, I try to make as personal as possible. No baby is the same, so why should their pictures be? I encourage my parents to bring in special items that tell the story of who they are and what hobbies make them happy. This Session was super important to them because Baby Jacob was a surprise baby!! Mom and Dad tried for years to have another baby and it just never worked out. But God is amazing. He wanted it to be on HIS time and HIS time alone. And they now welcome this sweet, beautiful, and very loved baby into their world to complete their amazing family of 4.

Baby Jacob was such a dream baby. As soon as Mom arrived, we topped him off with a little extra milk and he drifted off into what I call the Milk Coma 🙂 And that is exactly what I like to see in my Newborns. This makes the Session go by so much easier as I’m able to safely transition them from one pose to another without really interrupting their sleep. This makes for a much larger gallery of images and a super duper happy Photographer… LOL.

While I do LOVE to photograph lots of color, I also like to get more into the neutral tones and mix and match different textures. Since Mom and Dad have more of a neutral toned home, she requested the same color palette for the Newborn Session so that she’d be able to use some of his Newborn Portraits to decorate their home with.
